Job Description

**Company/Position Overview**



In this role you will: The position is part of a team that provides all IT Help Desk services and desk side support services. The Help Desk receives calls on standard office automation tools, hardware and network problems, access and security problems, remote access issues, on-line related training issues and problems with applications. Responsibilities to provide excellent customer service and the end-user experience.



Responsibilities:



+ Deskside support for desktops and Office 7

+ Support Apple users with Macbooks Air/Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, iPod, iPad and iPhones; Office 2016 for Mac

+ PC refresh and hardware swaps, including updating the inventory.

+ Printer Network and scan printing resolution and scanning functionality setup on the Network.

+ Printer setup, replacement, Networking and Network queue creation.

+ Laptop refresh, updates and group policy updates



**Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)**



+ Overall 5 years of experience.

+ Deskside support for desktops.

+ Respond to and work orders entered by Tier 1 Help Desk Support Team.

+ Handle hardware and software issues not resolvable by the Tier I Helpdesk Support

+ Use and update knowledge base

+ Repair or recreate user profiles

+ Security concerns, Virus/Trojan attacks including device isolation from the Network and scan

+ Specialty software installation and compatibility evaluation

+ TMA (work order system)

+ Network printer accessibility

+ Network connectivity issues, including NIC performance, port connectivity, cable testing and port security blocks

+ Single and dual monitor setup and projector connections

+ Answer help desk tier 1 calls, enter call information into Cireson.

+ PC refresh and hardware swaps, including updating the inventory.

+ Printer Network and scan printing resolution and scanning functionality setup on the Network

+ Printer replacement, Networking and Network queue creation

+ Printer driver updates from the Print Server

+ Printer hardware repair as much as possible before requesting factory repair service or replacement

+ Plotter support, Networking and queue creation

+ Laptop refresh, updates and Group Policy updates

+ iPhone and iPad support for hardware, Email, VPN and any functionality issues

+ Video teleconferencing and Skype for business support for users and the conference rooms

+ Toner and supply delivery and installation

+ Determining the needs for non-standard Network connected PCs and providing the equipment configuration needed.

+ Basic support for MAC devices, including security token updates and Network printing

+ Network port activation form the switched and reporting the port information to the Network team for port security activation

+ Receiving and helping asset management stocking the equipment and toner inventory
