Concordia College is a private college that offers undergraduate and graduate programs in liberal studies, biology, business, nursing, social sciences. The purpose of college is to influence the world's affairs by sending into society thoughtful and informed women and men dedicated to the Christian life. Concordia College was founded in 1891 and is located in Moorhead, Minnesota, United States. The college is now a community of more than 2000 students from more than 35 states and 28 countries and represents more than 35 denominations and religions. Concordia College employs around 160 full-time faculty, including award-winning composers, writers, NSF scientists, and national experts in a broad range of fields. The college maintains teams in more than 20 sports and carries 19 music ensembles, including The Concordia Choir, The Concordia Band, and The Concordia Orchestra.
