Job Description
Tradesmen International is seeking a full-time Construction Recruiter. The primary responsibility of the Recruiter is to recruit, interview and hire qualified Craft Professionals to ensure overall workforce optimization and to successfully build and manage a safe, stable, productive and skilled labor workforce. This is an in-office position, reporting Monday Friday to our Lawrenceville, NJ field office location. Major Responsibilities Include · Uses applicant tracking software to build and maintain a large pool of qualified candidates · Conducts employment interviews for Craftsmen applicants and makes hiring decisions in adherence with state and federal employment laws · Searches for qualified candidates using resume databases as well as performing off-site recruiting to identify and attract quality craftsmen · Consults with Sales Representatives and reviews open orders to determine existing and anticipated labor needs by classification on a daily basis · Manages Craftsmen activity regarding performance, attendance, safety, pay and other work-related issues · Conducts Craftsmen orientation and educates the new employees about our commitment to safety during the hiring process (e.g., explanation of safety as our number one core value), orientation (e.g., accident reporting procedures) and the online OSHA 10-Hour course registration Job Requirements The Construction Recruiter must have the ability to work in a high-energy team environment, inspire a team, be self-motivated and goal oriented with a proven track record. A "team player" attitude is expected. · Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills along with the ability to prioritize activities to ensure client satisfaction is required. · College degree desired, but not required.Industry knowledge is a definite plus, but not required. · Standard computer skills experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Outlook or equivalents. · Recruiting experience highly preferred familiarity with iCIMS, Indeed, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter a plus Benefits The Construction Recruiter receives an annual salary plus a monthly bonus structure, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
