About Construction Superintendent

What does a Construction Superintendent do?

As construction superintendent, we work to lead and manage the on-site construction team. We administer, coordinate, and check all construction work on site. We maintain records for site personnel like daily field reports, field orders, and RFI’s. It is our responsibility to order materials and equipment for the site. We review and become familiar with the schedule and budget. We watch and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness. For all construction schedules, we maintain documentation and logs. We also attend meetings and represent organizations for the meeting. Our job as construction superintendent to ensure the standard of the work.

Core tasks:

  • conduct all activities of the site, and maintain knowledge on all progress projects
  • operate all construction activities and confirm compliance to all design and budget
  • establish all new manuals and guidelines for the construction process maintain compliance with all health rules
  • provide efficient support, and maintain a relationship with all suppliers, and subcontractors
