What does a Consulting Member of Technical Staff do?

As Consulting Members of Technical Staff, we develop software programs records, applications, tools, networks, take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. The Consulting Members of Technical Staff create software for developing, designing, and debugging software applications /operating systems. We are the leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others, working with members of the team, and participating in the design and development of key attributes needed to make the Big Data Analytics Services successful.

Core tasks:

  • lead feature development work both within OCI and champion the work as necessary in the company and other communities as needed
  • work with the team to get the required approvals for the architecture and design for the problem at hand
  • suggest improvements in the way the service runs in various dimensions of performance, reliability, optimal cost
  • design and debug of software applications /operating systems
