About Consumer Insights Manager

What does a Consumer Insights Manager do?

As consumer insights managers, our job is to ask consumer questions that yield unbiased data and actionable business insights for our organization. We identify the most appropriate research methodologies for the project we work on (which may range from product development, through positioning and messaging strategy, to pricing and more). We develop quantitative and qualitative research strategies and conduct research. We then synthesize the results into clear and actionable business recommendations.

  • assessing information needs of organization
  • developing research methods that yield answers to information needs
  • developing research plan and budget
  • conducting research
  • translating research findings into business recommendations
  • representing the consumer point of view in the organization
