Consumers Energy relied heavily upon external consulting firm in restructuring Supply Chain operations, ignoring the newly hired Supply Chain professionals with more relevant expertise. Results were dismal, poorly communicated, and ineffective.

Pros and Cons
Early morning breakfast made to order
Disorganized, indecisive, confused leadership in Supply Chain

Culture and Values
less than the first month hired, I quickly identified the culture of my department. As time went on it became even more prevalent. I knew once I got close to reaching my probationary period, I would have to started seeking a career with another company. I saw how upper management treated some people, and I didn't agree on a humanity and fairness perspective. If you want to learn about your work place environment when you're new, speak when necessary to do your job, but listen to others and they will let you know all you need to know. I will leave it at this: We had a brief training about "Nepotism". My Manager gave the training. He is part of the biggest "Nepotism" ring there. Some of us just stared at each other with the look of "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" The End!

Pros and Cons
Great team of people to work with on the ground level
Poor evaluation rubric. Quota for highest yearly raises regardless of performance. Nepotism!

My previous Team Leader didn't like me and was always pin pointing out how my make-up was applied, my nervousness, my skin color (blush) and not following her procedures even though I was getting the job done in less time. I always was able to get my job done and able to assist other Project Coordinators with their work loads.

Pros and Cons
benefits, salary and vacation time off.
Not backing up their employees.
