About Continuous Improvement Manager

What does a Continuous Improvement Manager do?

As continuous improvement managers in industrial production, we are responsible for identifying and implementing ways of streamlining production processes. Our aim is to maximize efficiency. We implement benchmarks and metrics to measure it, and drive programs to improve it. Our role usually interfaces with production employees of all levels and functions. We act as an advocate for a culture of continuous improvement, delivering formal and informal training and mentoring.

Core tasks:

  • establishing and managing process efficiency benchmarks and metrics
  • implementing continuous improvement projects
  • managing assessment, development, launch, and continuous improvement of production activities
  • supervising continuous improvement professionals
  • delivering trainings
  • providing reports to leadership and communicating business needs
