Copper Mountain College (CMC), was founded in 1966. It is situated six miles east of Joshua Tree, California. Conventionally, it has prepared area residents for allocation to state and private universities and colleges and delivers vocational training in accounting, automotive technology, administration of justice, nursing, fire science, computer technology, and early childhood education certification. CMC offers certificate programs and Associate degrees in 24 fields of study. Classes are given at the Joshua Tree Campus and in several other locations suitable to district residents. Some of the crucial services that are given to students, who attend CMC, include registration, financial aid, transfer empowerment, counseling, food service, library, and a bookstore. The Greenleaf Library offers a multitude of advantages to all inhabitants of the local district. In addition to books, the library offers a computer study area with online access to support students.
