Copper Mountain Resort is a North American Ski resort. It was founded in 1971 by Chuck Lewis. The Copper mountain resort is located in Colorado, United States. The resort opened for skiing in 1972 with 26 miles of trails, 5 lifts, and two buildings. Copper Mountain resort was the first condominium building open for lodging and retail for the winter season with 2465 acres skiable area to attract both locals and foreigners. The Copper mountain is with 9712 base, 12313 top, and 2601 vertical elevation. The Copper mountain resort is located just 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado. The Copper Mountain Resort is an ideal vacation destination that represents the best of Colorado with lodging, retail outlets, restaurants, bars, and family activities. Throughout the cold weather months, Copper's chance into a-list skiing and riding, and in summer, the mountain changes into an untainted play area for explorers, mountain bikers. The Copper Environmental Foundation was established in November of 2007 by Copper workers to help ecological activities in their locale.
