Corelight and its underlying open source core (Zeek - formerly known as Bro) is already helping to defend networks at many the largest organizations in the world, enterprises, government agencies and large research universities. Although we are only a series B company ($25M in August, 2018), we already have eight of the Fortune 50 as customers. Our products (Corelight Sensors) are passive observers of network traffic, undetectable to the bad guys. From a copy of network traffic, we extract hundreds of pieces of security-relevant data and organize it in a form that is essential to our customers and their work.
