Job Description
The CSR goIT Specialist will help implement TCS’ STEM strategy, by supporting the delivery of TCS goIT program to increase engagement, achievement & persistence among students. The ideal candidate will have teaching and leading experience and is self-directed with effective presentation, facilitation and training experience in an educational environment. The goIT specialist will have a reflective and entrepenurial approach to program development and advancement. They will work as part of the goIT team to support the on-site delivery of programming across the United States as well as help prepare materials and coordinate logistics for upcoming programming. As part of the goIT team, the CSR goIT specialist will contribute towards reaching ambitious national and global goals for the program. Working with a partially remote team, this individual will have effective communication skills and will understand the nature of developing a program in an entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities On-site Program support Manage partenrships and programming coordination for assigned regions Effectively lead goIT training for program partners Assist in-person during large-scale goIT programs. Includes problem solving with teachers, supporting on-site goIT lead, collecting content for communications team, etc. Collect and analyze pre and post survey data for all events Content creation Support the creation of new goIT tech pathway curriculum Support the continued refinement of the goIT curriculum Aid in the development of a goIT online experience Training and Events Work directly with TCS partners and clients to coorinate impactful, well-organized, events Facilitate trainings and events related to goIT Ensure all program materials are created, assembled and shipped in a timely manner Communication Create internal and external facing content to promote and recap events Work closely with CSR horizontal teams to ensure employee, client and government engagement during all goIT events. Qualifications: Teaching experience demonstrating significant student growth within the classroom Experiecnce developing engaging curriculum for middle and high school learners Ability to successfully lead professional development for classrom teachers Ability to own and manage projects Understanding of CSR principles and practices Ability to work independently and in a team Self-directed individual with initiative, creativity, analytical and organizational management skills Superb communications including writing, editing and presentation skills Ability to lead and manage volunteers and volunteer groups Ability to collaborate with other departments, agencies and peers to reach common goals Strong planning and organizational skills with close attention to detail Ability to function effectively in a diverse, fast-paced and changing work environment Strong desire to be a positive, contributing member to the community Understanding of the nonprofit sector and corporate philanthropy Proven ability to independently manage deadlines and details while delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment Requirements: · Ability to travel up to 50% annually · Highly adaptive and flexible, and have excellent inter-personal skills and a positive attitude · Must be willing to work on multiple projects, both at a national and administrative level · Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies · Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Products, database experience a plus, volunteer software experience preferred but not required · Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc. Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred) If pursuing a degree, pursuing degree in education, communications, journalism or the like.
