About Correctional Sergeant

What does a Correctional Sergeant do?

As Correctional Sergeants, we are responsible for controlling the order and security of suspects in the facility. Our goal is to help the supervisor in the administration of security-related operations. We have to oversee suspects in different work details including both within the facility and outside the facility. In the role of Correctional Sergeant, our primary goal is to manage records and write reports on suspects’ movements and progress. We have to be alert for signs of the disorder. We are able to follow and ensures compliance with established security procedures.
