CoStar Group Company Reviews and Ratings

I worked at CoStar Group for 3 1/2 yrs. I quit during COVID due to mistreatment from management. The toxic culture of this company goes as far back before I started in 2017. The whole experience there was an unrealistic expectations, micro management, invasion of privacy, metrics heavy, environment. So after I gained 50lbs of stress weight, I decided to leave the company for the sake of my mental health. For anyone that applies there for AR positions, I hope that they change everything that is wrong with how they treat they’re employees for the better so that you don’t have to go through what me and others have gone through.
Pros and Cons
Free food, easy access to metro, convenient location
Bad quality salads and sandwiches, micro management, metric heavy, less diverse in upper management

I was a Field Researcher / Field Photographer for Costar in my region. Though we received excellent training and equipment to do our jobs well, the one main issue for me was the workload and time expectations. I often spoke with team leaders about their experiences throughout the years and they always agreed with me about the unreasonable workload & time expectations. Higher-ups would also continually add more tasks and higher quality requirements that were difficult to achieve well because we were also required to be constantly traveling.
Pros and Cons
Remote work, training, equipment, salary, some flexibility & opportunity to travel
Monitoring & Micromanaging. Increased expectations that didn't coincide with reasonable timelines
