Coty Inc. was established in Paris in 1904 by Corsican after having an intensive marketing knack. It launched its first brand, La Rose jacqueminot in the same year which was packaged in bottles designed by Baccarat. After successfully running its operations in the first years, the company opened its first store in Paris Vendome in 1908. The company is a century-old fragrance producer that has successfully manufactured cosmetics and assorted beauty aids. It has changed its ownership and management structure for many years and now it is a subsidiary of Joh. A Benckiser GmbH. It is headquartered in New York but has supplied its products across the European market.
