Very lackadaisical towards contract workers. Unresponsive, doesn't hold to their employee handbook, very poor communication. People appear overworked or do not care about your needs once you are placed.

If you work with this agency and you need to hear back, it may take you days, weeks, a year.
The agency reps know its employee is not responsive, rude and incompetent, however, the agency would not admit it nor would apologize.
This last time, I sent a number of emails, I called. I kept getting answers “I am busy”. When the situation became critical, I emailed another person with the question “who could be the one to help and respond?” For the first employee this request was like “throwing her under the bus”. All of a sudden she found all the time in the world and sent me sms on my phone with requests never call her again, she erased my LinkedIn account, she sent ridiculous statements about Karma and therapy referrals the On Call Counsel would be happy to provide. The person became passively-aggressive, offensive, dishonest. The On Call Counsel’s employees (managers, director) were CCed on that email thread. Although they observed what the employee sent me, none of them apologized.

Currently: Rude and incompetent staff.
