About Courier

What does a Courier do?

As Couriers, we are responsible for single-handedly loading and unloading cargo while applying all of the company’s guidelines and protocols when it comes to utilizing safe lifting techniques to prevent any back or knee injury. We work in pairs when needed in order to deliver particularly heavy, very fragile, or bulky items to ensure that each package arrives undamaged and in the exact condition when it was first loaded. We document any damage found on the package before and after loading it and relay the details to the employer to resolve the issue in a professional and timely manner.

Core tasks:

  • accept payment and produce invoices for packages or delivery fees upon arrival
  • keep track of any payments made for packages, and keep the records in the company’s database
  • drive the company’s vehicles to deliver certain packages to their final location when needed
