Crawford & Company was founded in 1941 by Jim Crawford, a former claims officer for an insurance company. He built the first Crawford office in Columbus, Georgia, on May 27, 1941. Crawford extended its activities throughout the United States after that. Both big insurance carriers used these offices to manage casualty and workers' compensation cases. Crawford & Company was founded in 1967 and had offices in Canada, Puerto Rico, England, and the United States. Our vision is to be the leading provider and most trusted source for expert assistance, serving those who insure and self-insure the risks of businesses and communities anywhere in the world.
