Summary: Our client is looking for a Creative Director - Digital Marketing will work with clients to create a digital brand system; design a set of brand components across all of their different brands. The ideal Creative Director - Digital Marketing understands content management and views CMS as a canvas for creation and demonstrates their 'need for speed" and will be a Firefighter who can unblock issues and drive to client satisfaction.
What You'll Do as the Creative Director:
Ride the see-saw between digital marketing and information technology
Lead the creation of a design system
Working on higher level guidelines and interfacing with clients and guide decision making
Work with the UX team to create wireframes
Manage various internal teams; participate in sprint ceremonies and standup meetings
Lead an internal team while maintaining an excellent level of communication with the client
Identify and communicate issues as they arise, while actively seeking solutions
Project planning, budgeting, writing user stories, creating and sticking to project timelines, creating project roadmaps, time tracking
What We're Looking For in a Creative Director:
Experience working with new clients to create a digital brand system
Enjoys being the shining light on creatively
UX background and a good eye for web design and how content management systems work
High sense of urgency; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where speedy delivery is a core value
Marketing background, a creative eye that understands what goes into a marketing campaign
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly
Strong customer-facing skills; polished and personable communication skills
Ability to lead clients in decision making
Awareness of working on a global team, with global time zones
Desire to join a growing, innovative digital agency in the Midwest, comfortable with change and learning
High accountability and ownership mentality; takes responsibility to drive projects to successful completion
