Creative Strategist/Planner or a
Senior CreativeStrategist/Planner to join our global creative team and drive the creative ambition of the business. We’re open to basing this position in New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Raleigh, NC; or Washington, DC, as it is a globally-minded, creatively-open and strategically-driven position. As a Senior Creative Strategist/Planner, you will be an insight-fueled creative catalyst with the right balance of idealism and pragmatism to work across our key clients and on significant new business.
Responsibilities- Strategic thinker with the ability to seek and drive research hypotheses along with our Creative, Digital, and APCO Insights team using it to bring a forward-looking approach to thought leadership and agency
- Pragmatic-idealist with the ability to push our teams to explore new routes and paths to explore and help develop an actionable insight leading to a strategic approach
- Trend watcher with the ability to bring a well-rounded approach to day-to-day discovery of trends, observations, and technical capabilities that could be applied to client opportunities and new business projects
- Exceptional team player with the ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams including account leaders, media strategist, digital strategist, insights team, and creative directors
Qualifications- At least seven (7) years of experience in communications, agency and/or client side
- Proven creative strategy experience in communications-led or 360 programming
- Understanding of corporate, public affairs, consumer, and CSR programming
- Creative thinker with an understanding of how ideas come to life across earned, social, and owned media channels
- Outstanding creative writing and persuasive presentation skills
- Ability to inspire team members, regardless of level, to think differently and more boldly
- Highly collaborative team player and leader
- Community minded and an active participant in her/his world.
