About Crew Scheduler

What does a Crew Scheduler do?

As Crew Schedulers, we are responsible for the development and communication of schedule for all flights, along with crew members of flights. Our schedulers work with airlines and are responsible for the direction of people between locations by use of the smallest number of personnel and vehicles performing the tasks as quickly as possible. With crew scheduling, we perform a variety of technical crew functions and activities, taking flight control, the stationing of personnel and maintenance of necessary communication between all crew members. We perform continuous auditing and verification of coverage areas with respect to scheduled and legality issues.

  • uphold and monitor compliance with federal laws and contractual compliance
  • work with system operations control and inflight management
  • application of federal regulations, contract rules and crew members qualification
  • employment of varied software systems
