Critchfield Mechanical, Inc. (CMI) is a mechanical contracting firm in Northern California, offering design, fabrication and installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing & process piping systems. Founded by Joe Critchfield, his sons and a team of professionals, CMI has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence. The firm's goal is to maximize occupant comfort, minimize operating costs and maintain a competitive cost for construction for every project. The firm believes this team philosophy engenders increased productivity and quality. Continued growth is the product of the continual focus on quality. The headquarters in San Jose, California is constructed on 200,000 sq. ft. including space for an office, fabrication shops and a large warehouse. The warehouse allows thousands of parts and equipment to be stored, enabling rapid turn-around for fast-track projects. In addition to the headquarters, the firm has offices located in the North Bay of California, Southern California and several on-site project offices across the country.
