We carry out diagnostic tests and help in identifying needs, altering the care plans to fit them. We perform therapeutic procedures following the clinical status of the patient. It is our job to evaluate the vital signs and lab test results of the patients to determine possible emergency intervention requirements. We provide various forms of support and advocate for the patients and their family members. Critical care registered nurses help explain the conditions and treatment plans to the patients to ensure proper recovery.
