About Critical Care Technician

What does a Critical Care Technician do?

In the role of Critical Care Technician, we are responsible for meeting the needs of patients. We collect essential data and reports as directed by the licensed nurse of hospitals. We need to measure the comfort given to the patient. We also handle the transportation of patients to different departments of the hospital for meeting desired care needs. As Critical Care Technicians, we are accountable for accompanying the ambulances to the accident sites. We have the ability to quickly assess the patient’s condition and take them to the appropriate medicare departments without wasting any time. We also have the ability to treat a large variety of injuries and other ailments.

Core tasks:

  • responding to the patent needs
  • performing clerical duties as well
  • caring for the patients when required
  • assisting in the transfer and discharge of patients from the unit
  • identifying the patient's current condition and health
