About Crop Consultant

What does a Crop Consultant do?

We, as Crop Consultants, act as resources for farmers on many topics, from agricultural technologies to the issues that affect the modern rural family. Our responsibility is to advise farmers on improved agricultural work methods such as farm management, crop rotation, livestock breeding, feeding, and use of new machinery. Moreover, we also collect data with key crop performance indicators and analyze the data by summarizing key findings in technical reports. All of us also develop new prospects and interact with the existing growers to increase agricultural input sales so that sales objectives can be met. It is our job to consult with growers on agricultural issues and resolve them with the appropriate action.

Core tasks:

  • managing the sales to be able to meet the profit margin objective
  • visiting the farms to conduct analysis and collect information about the crop yield
  • working with internal and external stakeholders to increase their interest in farming methods with improved agronomic, economic, and environmental benefits
