I have been at Crossmark several years. In that time the company has been bought and sold at least twice! Every new owner gives us more hoops to jump through, more little tasks (with NO added pay!), more restrictions and conditions to adhere to; the noose just gets tighter and tighter! I have been layed-off 3 times in the years I've been here and twice I was notified by EMAIL! My supervisor DIDN'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO CALL ME IN PERSON! Recently EVERYBODY in the company was REQUIRED to sign a waiver "CONSENTING" to GPS tracking on our company provided device (phone, tablet)! So if you finish working at 5PM and decide to stop at a bar, strip club, gun shop, WHATEVER- than they know where you are AFTER working hours! The device is assigned to you, you have to have it with you at all times because you are responsible for it! Screw that noise! These are SOME of the reasons I'm on Indeed looking for a DIFFERENT job! Crossmark is a revolving door company on the decline.

Pros and Cons
A paycheck- that's it!

The position is cool. I've helped a relative with it. I wanted to do it and was accepted. Problem came from the Supervisor. Whom chose to speak down and raised voice prior to 1st day in the field. I reported the incident with the company and they did nothing. I have also haven't gotten paid for my training hours. Its been about a year now. They said I had to contact the same Supervisor whom was unprofessional to put in my hours. Contacted her several times and she never returned communication or report my hours. Now in the process of reporting her and the company to Tx Work Force for no wages.

I worked at Crossmark for nearly 7 years and started out great! Unfortunately, after being there until last Wednesday, my supervisors started to question the way I did my job. Keep in mind my supervisor is who trained me, yet is the one who had the problem with my “reporting”! I worked two open territories and had nearly 20 hours OT. I was always considered one of the hardest workers, yeah it was always question on my ability to do my job. Finally my supervisor that had it in for me decided to end my time with the company only because she was intimidated by me. If you’re an overachiever and a hard working individual, don’t plan on getting anything but FIRED FOR IT!!

I am a mentor for Crossmark/Promoworks. This job entails my traveling throughout Connecticut training new hires, consulting with E.S.'s (Event Specialists) already on the job. I would visit on-site promotions to ensure that the products were being displayed and represented in the best light to ensure customers were being informed by my E.S.'s. I would photograph their workstations and upload them to my manager. I would do reviews of the E.S.'s performance, answer any questions they may have, and try to rectify problems they might encounter. I also supplied them with equipment and uniforms they might need. I am still employed with Crossmark/Promoworks but at this time they are not doing demos.

Pros and Cons
I enjoyed the interaction with my team members, making my own hrs. and traveling though Ct.state.
