As Customer Account Specialists, we manage assigned client accounts for the company, opening and working accounts, negotiating contracts, selling company products and services, ensuring a high standard of customer service, solving customer complaints, and attracting potential clients. The Customer Account Specialists order chemical products for a customer base of approximately 60-70 with accuracy and quantity of materials, communicating with the plants and logistics to ensure the on-schedule delivery of products. We place returns on damaged or unused products, work with the credit division on invoice issues ranging from price credit adjustments to setting up credit terms on a customers' account, and training new hires to enter orders and complaints using the SAP system. We reduced delinquencies by qualifying customers for programs, educate customers on loan responsibilities and consequences of default, make outbound calls to delinquent customers to review/secure payment options, manage large calls from customers and Sales Reps.
