AWI is currently seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to join our Customer Service team at our headquarters in Lancaster, PA. The Customer Experience Coordinator will mainly be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and efficient routing and tracking of customer orders for the Architectural Specialties team. The Customer Experience Coordinator will be expected to become familiar with our Architectural Specialties products and will also be tasked with providing support to the estimation team.

 

Responsibilities of the Customer Experience Coordinator:

  • Oversee Architectural Specialties (AS) Order inbox and initial customer experience
  • Evaluate and route AS orders appropriately to Premium Order Specialist, Project Coordinator, or Customer Focus Center for order processing
  • Evaluate and follow up on all internal and external order inquiries
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and Project Coordinators to ensure accurate order logs
  • Ad hoc reporting and special project requests
  • Set up new custom projects in Newforma project management software
  • Utilize One Quote to quote new jobs for customers
  • Provide backup support and coverage to Sample Coordinator

 

Required Qualifications and Education of the Customer Experience Coordinator:

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years of related customer support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and external customers
  • Willingness to embrace change and continually look for opportunities to improve processes, functions, and actions to maximize efficiency and customer value

 

Preferred Qualifications of the Customer Experience Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's degree

TASKS

  • Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills.
