What does a Customer Service Analyst do?

Working as Customer Service Analysts, we are responsible for gathering data and doing research. We use customer service data, observations, and reports to get a clear picture of the department’s operations and ways to improve them. Some of us focus on the customer service experience. We work to improve the company’s profit margins and sales. We develop our findings into easy to understand reports or presentations for management. We provide process or sales improvement strategies. We work with subject matter experts, marketing teams, or management to develop plans. We are also responsible for training employees in new processes and strategies.

Core tasks:

  • train customer service representatives on ways to improve customer satisfaction
