Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Responsibilities include determining the clients issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. May be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. High School diploma and customer service or call center experience. Skills, include accurate documentation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

o Entry level - 2 years customer service related experience required
o Exercises minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor
o Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required)
o Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (Required)
o Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software (Typically required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Resolve customers service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills
o Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
o Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
o Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
Lexis is an inbound call center, they receive calls from customers calling in to place orders for different vital records for example birth, marriage, divorce, and death. Depending on the state they are ordering for they may have to explain what type of documentation they need to send in for proof of ID or entitlement. They also take payments from customers ranging from bill payments, to citations, and child support. Some of the callers are irate and would need to make sure you listen and show empathy.
Able to work any shift within the 24 hour period
Most schedules include working weekends, early mornings 5:00am evenings starting at 2:30pm
