Job Description

You will be helping our clients with their current insurance policies and providing back office support to our sales staff.

  • Answer all incoming calls
  • Make outbound calls to clients that have missed payments or have cancelled coverage
  • Handle customer complaints and offer solutions
  • Stay up to date on insurance products and their coverage/benefits
  • Run quotes for new clients
  • Call insurance companies to see if a client will qualify medically for coverage
  • Various other administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • You need to enjoy helping people understand their coverage and solve their problems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Call Center/Customer Service environment in the healthcare/ insurance field
  • Working knowledge of medical conditions/ terminology and health related insurance products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to obtain a life/health insurance license. We will pay for this.

TASKS

  • Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills.
