Cuyahoga Community College, popular as the Tri-C, is a semester-basis community college, which offers classroom and distance learning services. The college currently runs over 1000 associate degree programs that are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The college operates a multi-campus system in Northeast Ohio, primarily servicing Cuyahoga County, along with Cleveland and its surrounding communities with campuses in Parma, Highland Hills, Westlake, and downtown Cleveland. The college was established in 1963, and currently offers over 190 career and technical programs on campus and over 800 distance learning courses, with a glowing reputation to have the lowest tuition cost in the state of Ohio. The college currently has an active enrollment of 26000 students, supported by a staff of 5000 plus educators and support faculty. The diverse student demographic enjoys a variety of activities ranging from fine arts, student organizations and clubs integrated to promote involvement in the campus.
