Since 1903 Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) has been the only historically outstanding and the most comprehensive Art gallery located in the Arts District, Dallas. It is headquartered along Woodall Rodgers Freeway, downtown Dallas, Texas, the United States. Dallas Museum of Art was started with the foundation of the Dallas Art Association. It is a non-profit Art gallery with a collection of more than 24,000 pieces of artifacts and objects around the world, including African collection, American art collection, Ancient Mediterranean arts, South Asian Arts, contemporary arts, dates ranging from ancient (third millennium BC) to modern times. It offers exhibitions, activities, information, and collections of more than 5,000 years of history of the world. It is a famous tourist attraction that welcomes more than 3.2 million visitors annually.
