What does a Data Engineer do?

As Data Engineers, we help an organization maintain the efficiency of its data processing systems. We build and apply techniques and tools that help prepare information that Data Scientists work with. This includes documenting system configuration and client projects. We assist project managers and engineers, recommending and developing best practices. Leveraging Big Data technologies is the core of our role.
