Job Description

SOC Telemed (SOC) is the Nations most experienced and trusted provider of physician consultations via telemedicine. The company's clinical specialties include TeleNeurology, TelePsychiatry, and TeleIntensivist. In addition, our Managed Services solution allows hospitals to build a telemedicine program for a variety of specialties utilizing their own physicians.

The Data Entry Analyst is critical to making this vision a reality on a daily basis as your work ensures the right physicians are scheduled to work at the right times-- making it possible for our consultations to take place in a way that ensures quality of care.

You will support and be a part of the Clinical Resource Planning Team with daily operational tasks. To support your work, we have the latest software and a team of data analyst(s). Each day, you will assist with the management, development, and implementation of the SOC physician schedule in accordance with defined metrics and operational goals.

Our team must effectively communicate the needs of the business from a physician supply (e.g. hiring needs, contract conversions) as well as a licensing and privileging perspective to internal staff. This means that you will be a member of the team that provides feedback to Sales, Client Engagement and Practice Management around our ability to take on additional demand at the state and facility level. This guidance helps to shape the future landscape of our company.

This position is located in our Reston, VA headquarters and reports directly to the Director, Physician Scheduling.

Tasks/Responsibilities (to include, not limited to):

  • Data entry (to include entering/management of physician availability/restrictions to support schedule build/management)

  • Data entry (entering monthly scheduling data into the scheduling software)

  • Assist with the compiling of capacity/coverage needs by service line, by physician group, or other criteria to include a summary of progress

  • Assist with Physician outreach to resolve capacity/coverage needs

  • Assist with shift changes (extensions, change in start/end time, trades, etc.)

  • Assist with compiling reports from various data sources

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required

Experience

Required

  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience in the healthcare industry is required

  • Minimum of one year scheduling/workforce management or related experience is required

Preferred

  • Experience working in a telemedicine environment

Your experience must demonstrate that you have:

  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with an emphasis on hitting key deliverables/dates

  • The ability to collaborate across multiple, cross-functional teams

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and general computer skills
