Culture and Values
The firm has some really good people who are smart and work hard. Innovation from the staff side is highly discouraged. Some managers are very territorial and vindictive, but most managers are very good, just overworked: Most of them are working managers and have little time to really develop people. There is no real professional development for non-attorneys. Manager development is hit and miss, at best. You have to really look for it yourself, which then leads to a lot of different leadership styles and no homogeneity. Too bad, because the lawyers are very good, although they too are poor managers, not having the time or the incentive to learn how to manage their close staff or their associates.

Pros and Cons
Flexible work for most people. Fair benefits.
Poor upper management of staff. Some poor relations between staff and attorneys.
