Headquartered in Burbank, California, DC Comics was founded in 1934 and is an American comic book publisher and a flagship unit of DC Entertainment, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Global Brands and Experiences wing of Warner Bros. Being one of the largest and oldest American comic book firms, majority of the publications of DC Comics take place within the fictional DC Universe and feature several culturally iconic and heroic characters such as Wonder Woman, Batman, and the Superman.
