DC Scholars Public Charter School is seeking an engaging Dedicated Aide for the upcoming 2019-20 school year. We are looking for an aide who is passionate about planning and providing excellent, data-driven instruction. Plan for and provide excellent classroom instruction for elementary students.
Provide support for lead teachers.
Provide small group instruction based on state standards and school-wide goals for achievement.
Collaborate with lead teachers to meet the needs of all learners and to design effective instructional and behavioral plans.
Receive feedback and coaching from school leaders.
Reward positive student behavior and hold students accountable using school-wide systems.
Participate in school-wide family engagement activities including home visits, phone calls to family members, and school-based meetings with families. Engage with family members regularly.

Bachelor?s degree, preferably in Education or a related field
[Preferred] Experience driving student achievement in an urban public or charter school
