Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is headquartered in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and is a corporate university that offers acquisition, technology, and logistics (AT&L) training to Federal contractors, military and Federal civilian staff. DAU was established on the 22nd of October, 1991 and is affiliated with the United States Department of Defense and the US Federal Government, accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), American Council on Education (ACE), and the Council on Occupational Education (COE). The university offers training courses encompassing all defense acquisition workforce members in three certification levels and 14 career fields.
