Founded in October 1902, at Miami University Oxford, Ohio, as well as headquartered in the same location, DeltaZeta is a social sorority founded by six young women named Anne Simmons, Mabelle Minton, Julia Bishop, Anna Keen, Alfa Lloyd, and Mary Collins. The purpose of the sorority was to proliferate the mission of these six women, which is making new mates, adopt and learn new things. At present, the organization has 270,000 plus members and 170 chapters in various colleges. Inspiring women all over the country for 117 years. The official magazine of DeltaZeta is called the LAMP published three times a year, and copies are sent out to all the members of the organization except to those people who prefer the online version instead of hard copies. Women can sign-up for membership in this organization and become a part of a sisterhood that has been there for over a century.
