About Dental Hygiene Instructor

What does a Dental Hygiene Instructor do?

As Dental Hygiene Instructors, we are responsible for preparing, developing, and delivering clear instructions and perform other teaching-related activities such as managing the classroom and laboratory. We also coordinate with other specialists to develop new curriculums to maintain the course relevance and effectiveness in accordance with the latest development in the Dental Hygiene field. We work with assistants to administer, grade, and document assignments, tests, and exams both theoretical and practical while managing the school’s equipment, supplies, and materials.

Core tasks:

  • assess the students’ overall performance and help them resolve their academic issues
  • attend relevant departmental meetings, seminars, and webinars
