The Department of justice was established with a vision to implement the law and defend the interests of the US as per the law. In addition to this, the department is also committed towards assuring public safety against threats foreign and domestic, rendering federal leadership to prevent and control crime and seeking punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior while assuring e fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans. The department of Justice is celebrating 150th anniversary of the creation from its beginnings in 1789 to the Department's founding in 1870 to today. The foundation of department is 1870 Act, but its structure keeps changing with time along with the offices of Deputy Attorney General, Associate Attorney General, and the formation of various components, offices, boards, and divisions. From its inception as a one-man to part-time position, the Department of Justice has revolutionized into the world's largest law office and the chief enforcer of federal laws.

I've worked for the Department Of Justice, US. Attorney's Office,SDNY for 8 years as a Mail/Records clerk. It was the best job I've ever had, and I've got great recognition for my years of service.

Great working hours, holidays, and occasional overtime when needed.
Had to build up your time in order to take days off.
