Job Description

DEPOSIT OPERATIONSADMINISTRATION OFFICER I

Summary

Responsiblefor providing guidance and support to the Deposit Operations Management Team,the Retail Banking team and other departments as outlined below. This positionwill function as a team lead in the Account Services department.

Primary JobResponsibilities

  • Coordinatesand works with the department manager on all legal requests: levies, freezes,garnishments, bankruptcy, reclamations, subpoenas, POA s and Trust s;

  • Ensuresmonthly IOTA reporting is processed timely and accurately;

  • Overseesthe reporting of charged-off account to ChexSystems and maintaining charged-offaccounts;

  • Overseesthe automated overdraft product to track excessive usage and assist clients whoare eligible for Fresh Start product;

  • Overseesthe monitoring of Reg D, Reg CC, Stop Payments, HSA Excessivecontributions any various reportsassigned by department manager;

  • Leadsin the development and delivery of training to operations and banking centerassociates.

  • Makerecommendations in the development and maintenance of operational procedures;

  • Coordinateswith the banks IT department and/or System Administrator on the testing of our frontlineand Deposit Operations systems when we have monthly patches and our annual JackHenry Release. Will also create any procedures or communications on changes tothe systems;

  • Coordinatesand works with the department manager on dormant and yearly escheatment;

  • Coordinatesand works with the department manager on yearly tax reporting to include: RMDnotifications to clients, tax reporting research and corrections;

  • Providesback up support with the set-up of new Association Banking account moves;

  • Handlesclient issues that are CIF and deposit related;

  • Remaincurrent and adhere to all regulatory requirements and training;

  • Responsiblefor providing back up support to allDeposit Operations Specialists;

  • Additionalduties that may be assigned from time to time.

Education/Experience:

  • HighSchool Diploma or equivalent, and 5+ years banking experience.

  • Knowledgeableof financial institution operating policies and procedures, and state andfederal banking regulations.

  • Proficientin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with differenttypes of banking software.
