Deputy Chief Information Officer (Principal Executive/Manager E) position with

As our next Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) of the DOR, you will be
responsible to the Agency s Chief Information Officer (CIO) for overseeing
the procurement, management, development, operations, and continual improvement
of all business solutions, the project management office, and the Testing
Center of Excellence. Your ability to lead with empathy and foster an
environment of inclusion where all can thrive will be paramount. Developing
strong partnerships and positive relationships will be second nature to the
work you do all while leading to reinforce a workplace of accountability.
* Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
* 10+ progressive years of related IT experience.
* Minimum of 5 years in management or senior leadership role.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Strong hands-on management capabilities, leadership, coaching, and people
* Approachable, strategic leader with a proven ability to build and sustain
trusting relations across the enterprise at all levels and demonstrated
* Understanding of internal controls and developing/implementing control
* PMP is a plus.
* Knowledge of testing best practices helpful.
* Three (3) years of management experience in a public or private

Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Assign and review the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers.
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
