We were constantly mandated to work double shifts, usually with little or no notice! We were always required to do more with less. Management never assisted when we were short-staffed, when it was time to leave...they left. Promotions had the appearance of being biased, as most, if not all were promoted based on what appeared to be former DPD employees! Pay was also very lacking, starting out even experienced officers at almost the bottom of the pay scale! I WOULD NOT recommend DMC to anyone!!!

Pros and Cons
there are none!!!

I had A wonderful experience working at Detroit Medical Center. I was always learning such as, performing microbiology test, customer service, to doctors, and customers giving test results, answering phones, giving stat test results. Also, typing pathology reports, and data entry. It was A wonderful experience.

Pros and Cons
I received overtime which was very helpful.
After 9am it was hard to find A parking space.
