About Development Coordinator

What does a Development Coordinator do?

As Development Coordinators, we are responsible for coordinating all aspects of fundraising, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and execution of fundraising campaigns. We build strategies to enhance domestic and state-level donor base. We also serve to send an appeal letter to donors. Entering all donations records into the central database is also part of our duty. We also manage the CRM system. We analyze data from the system to make recommendations to the management about donor cultivation. Working as Development Coordinators, we are responsible for planning fundraising events as per organizational guidelines. Finally, we assist in developing donation and donor recognition pages.

Core tasks:

  • researching, drafting, and applying for grants
  • sending emails and newsletters to potential donors
  • planning and organizing fundraising campaigns
  • keeping records of all interactions with the donors
