Job Description
Role : Devops ArchitectJob Type : Contract -6+ MonthsLocation: Irving, TX (Only on W2) Summary: The Senior Build and DevOps Engineer will be responsible for development, maintenance and execution of tools and processes that build, deploy, automate and streamline code management and the product deployment processes.They will also develop, improve, and document build, CICD processes and procedures.They will be responsible for software source code, change control, configuration, build and deployment process for java and .Net based applications.The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with excellent analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills. Required Skills:Experience in administration and configuration of continuous integration tools like Jenkins or similar tools.Experience in administration of source code management tools like Git/Stash.Experience with Artifactory or similar toolsExperience with build frameworks and technologies such as ANT, MAVEN.Experience in working with build projects for large distributed java applications.Experience in deployment patterns for Weblogic and Java applicationsExperience in code merges for large multiple streams including complex merges of reference dataExperience in integrating builds for large metadata toolsFamiliarity with workspace and build management for common componentsExperience with automating Sonar and Fortify in scans.Experience with automating execution of Selenium/TestNG/Jmockito test cases.Experience working with transactional database systems; i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java and other programming languagesExperience using automated code review toolsKnowledge of XML/XSL and Web-services developmentKnowledge of JIRAWorking experience of writing Database queries in ORACLE or SQL SERVER or DB2 platform using tools like TOAD or similarExperience with Linux AdministrationExperience with WebServers (e.g. Apache,tomcat)Experience with builds in JavaExperience with PERL,Shell scripting.Experience with Android and/or iOs build systemFamiliarity with Groovy or Python scripting.Familarity with Gradle and XcodeGood experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment processUnderstanding and experience with code deployment for micro-servicesGood understanding of source control branching and merging procedures and standardsGood Understanding of software configuration management practices.Familiarity with AWS, DockerFamiliarity with ELKFamiliarity with Configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible etcEvaluate and develop new technology that contributes to the availability, quality, and automation of key systems.
