Overview
Bio-Rad is looking for a Medical Technologist (Diagnostic System Specialist).
Responsibilities - Actively coordinate the installation process of complex medical devices and instrumentation.
- Provide one-on-one communication with high-level customer site management.
- Responsible for the installation of new systems as well as IQ/OQ/PQ for new product installations, as applicable.
- Analyze data, prepare installation/data reports, troubleshoot problems and determine solutions.
- Work directly with client to create process documentation and ongoing training for client users.
- Expedite go-live status by following up with the customer contacts, ensuring obstacles are addressed.
- Provide assay correlation studies at installation.
- Work directly with client to create service documentation to meet regulatory requirements for installation and system performance.
Qualifications - Four year medical technologist or Clinical Chemist degree is required.
- Will accept a two year medical technologist degree with applicable years of experience.
- Three plus years of experience in the blood bank industry preferred.
- Three plus years of experience in a customer facing environment.
- Ability to train customers in complex instrumentation processes.
- Knowledge and experience in IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
- Possess general understanding of clinical methodology (how the chemistry works).
- Fluent in laboratory processes and quality control statistics.
- Availability to travel throughout the US 90% of the time, home on most weekends.
