Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer within the area of Enterprise Additive Manufacturing (AM). Enterprise AM team manufactures products using AM methods and provides technical and manufacturing support for BHGE through creative AM Solutions. This position is an integral role within the team to create Digital and Machine Learning innovations and accelerate AM adoption across the Enterprise.
In the role of the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
+ Pro-actively seek and identify new opportunities to improve Additive Manufacturing processes and outcomes using Digital and Machine Learning solutions
+ Convert identified opportunities into well-defined projects and manage project execution to achieve desired outcomes
+ Provide subject matter expertise for data management, digitization, process improvement, and Machine Learning solutions for the Enterprise Additive
+ Manage the Digital Brilliant Factory implementation for the Enterprise Additive
+ Organize and contribute to ideation and brainstorming events
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar disciplines
+ Strong programming skills (Python, Matlab, C, C++, Visual Basic)
+ Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts, including mathematical theory and practical deployment
+ Some experience implementing Machine Learning solutions
+ Proven ability to lead, manage, and complete projects
+ Strong knowledge of Additive Manufacturing modalities, processes, equipment, and materials
+ Solid leadership skills
+ Ability to work independently with little supervision
+ Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence others.
+ Excellent communications skills across all levels of the organization
+ Held positions of responsibility in Data Sciences, Machine Learning, Digital, or Additive
+ Previous expertise with metal Additive Manufacturing
