As digital print press operators we use digital printing machines and software programs to effectively create materials per client request. In fulfilling these requests, we may change many variables in the printing press set-up, such as dimension, color or contrast. As such we create schedules to reflect these various deadlines. In addition, we do maintenance of the machines. We are tasked to maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests, setup, program and release jobs from print queue. We do monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality. Further, we are charged with maintaining inventory of supplies such as such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed.
